We left on Thursday and she didn't compete until Saturday, so we decided to jaunt down to St. George, with the Shepherds' to Sand Hollow Reservoir. We hung out there for a couple of hours and swam. It was pretty there. It kind of reminded me of a little Lake Powell, very little, and we love Lake Powell. We climbed down some rocks to a sandy shoreline. After the kids got into the water they discovered a dead duck. Being the manly man that he his Jeff went out and rescued the duck and then proceeded to toss it on the shoreline a couple of feet away from us. Now not only do we have to worry about Swimmers itch but we need to watch out for the Bird Flu. Can you get that from dead ducks? Nat can you tell me. But as of now, no swimmers itch.
Kinzie on the podium with her Bronze medal for vault. She scored an 8.25; on floor 7.9; on beam 7.725; on bars 6.6 this is her hardest event.
Here is the team cheering on one of their own on vault.

Yeah!! Congratulations Kiki! Glad you all had fun!
Good job Kinz!
Okay - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER pick up a dead bird. Are you insane? Are you? Do you never listen to me. Have you not heard my panic for the past year? All I can say is good luck to you.
