Disneyland

We made it back from Disneyland with only a few minor incidents. On our way to Disneyland we stopped at Whiskey Pete's for the night. When we got there Jaycie said she wasn't feeling well. We chalked it up to a long travel day and being tired. We had connecting doors with Jeff's sister Jill, so we put all 6 kids to bed and the adults went downstairs to the casino to enjoy our portion of the vacation. When we came upstairs later that evening we were getting ready for bed, when Jaycie starts whining and then she chucked all over the bed. (at least she waited for our fun to end) The rest of the evening we were up every half hour with the dry heaves. Fun times. We then had to travel the rest of the way to Disneyland, so armed with hotel towels and an ice bucket we were on our way. She did really well, only vomiting in parking lots, and entrances to gas stations. At one of these gas stations we were walking in and she started to gag, so I turned real fast, wasn't fast enough, it landed in their entrance. There was a man behind us holding the door, we ran real fast to the weeds and a couple minutes later the man came out with a wet and dry cloth for her to clean up with. I was close to crying, I thought that was so sweet. He then proceeded to tell us about this great drink called Ginger Ale, said it would calm her stomach right down. Let me tell you if you haven't tried it, then you need to . She drank it and said she was starting to feel better. Ginger Ale, who new. Anyway most of the trip was uneventful for everyone but Jaycie. She stepped on a dead bee's stinger at the beach and stung herself, then when we were in line at Peter Pan, she was hanging over the rail when she slipped and smashed her face into the rail and had a big welt all down the side of her face. It was not her week.
This is us in California Adventure. This is us in the Tower of Terror. Notice Jaycie's death grip on Jeff's arm. We made her go on this ride, tears and all, at least 8 times. After about the 8th time she decided she was starting to like it.
This is Thunder Mountain railroad. I think the kids had a good time. We went on this ride about 10 times. The kids loved it. And I must say I loved it for other reasons..............

When we were coming off the above mentioned ride there was man standing off to the side of the exit. I looked at him and thought "that looks like Sonny off General Hospital(my favorite, tivo-ed everyday) Jeff thought I was smoking some bad weed. I made Kinzie and my niece Taylor go ask him if his name was Maurice Bernard. He kind of laughed and said yes, the Kinzie told him - "stay right there, don't move" and she came screaming down the sidewalk MOM, MOM, hurry it IS him. So I booked it down there and had my pic taken with him. He was so nice. I can't even tell you how excited I was. He probably thought I was an idiot cause I was just a blabbering. AAAAAHHHHHGGGGG. I am still really excited about it. Anyway here we are....

Yeah! He is better looking it real life, and I of course, had to look like a bag lady. Oh well, we all had a really fun time.

You are not a bag lady. You looked very appealing. I was so surprised he did not make out with you because you looked incredible. Also - we had a great time hanging out with you.

OH, Poor Jaycie. I am sure it was fun anyway. I have heard the wonders of Ginger Ale just recently and am so glad to hear it actually works as well as I heard. Also glad that you were the guinea pig, and not me! HA.
