So I was grumpy with Jeff and the kids this morning, and look what was on my counter when I got home:
Yep, he's a keeper. Thanks honey, I Love You.

Which Disney Character are you?
I am Megara! So I was looking at my sister's blog, and then I went to one of her friends' blog, and she had this sight on there,It was fun so I decided to steal her idea and share it with you. Let me know who you are.
You Are Megara!
Which Disney Princess Are You?
You Are Megara!
Charming and witty. You are always the first person to come up with a wisecrack. Sure, you have an attitude, but that's why people love you. You keep them on their toes. Sometimes you can be misleading, but always end up doing the right thing for the people you love.

Thankful Thursday-(A day late)
I have many things to be thankful for, but today I am especially thankful for these following things:
1. I am thankful to live in a state where you can wear flip-flops, shorts, and snowboots all on the same day.
2. I am thankful for a husband who gets up and helps when one of his children is vomiting her guts out, instead of sleeping through it.
3. I am also thankful for said husband, when he got just as little sleep as I did, but he lets me sleep in.
4. I am once again thankful for said husband, who supplies his lovely wife with Diet Coke and Beto's breakfast burritos, when she needs it the most. ( He just knows)
5. I am thankful for the flu....yes people I said it, I am thankful for the flu. Why? because I didn't have to work today and it has provided me with the opportunity to do a little purging of my own....my bedroom, Jaycie's bedroom, and my kitchen. It was needed very badly. I have to wait until Kinzie is back at school to do her room, and I don't know if I dare enter the realm of Colton's room.
6. I am also thankful for my kids. They are great. They sure keep things lively, don't they.
7. I am also thankful, once again, for having a fabulous husband, he is always there when I need him, and even when I don't. He is supportive and he helps out ALOT! How many people can say that about there husbands. Love ya Babe.

Hey There Mckinzie
This picture doesn't have anything to do with the following story, I just thought it was cute. Anyway, Kinzie got her first love song from a boy yesterday. I thought I would share some of it with you. She has had a crush on him for most of the year. It goes like this: Mckinzie if you still like me this is for you, if you don't like me anymore please don't read it. This is a song called Hey There Delilah. Hey there Mckinzie what's it like in New York City, I'm a thousand miles away, but girl tonight you look pretty yes you dooo. Hey there Mckinzie don't you worry about the distance I'm right there if you get lonely. A thousand miles seems pretty far but they've got planes and trains and cars, I'd walk to you if I had no other waaaay... And it keeps going, but it's to long. (he wrote this not me.) Pretty cute huh! Well I thought so and she had a stinking nervous breakdown today. Bawling all over the place, you would have thought he wanted to marry her at the age of ten the way she was carrying on. She was soooo nervous, she didn't know if she like him anymore. I mean come on, is she one of those girls who likes a boy until he likes her back. Just the other day she was whining, nobody likes me, and now that one does, she totally has a breakdown. Oh well the stress of a ten year old. I don't think I am going to handle growing up very well.

Disneyland
We made it back from Disneyland with only a few minor incidents. On our way to Disneyland we stopped at Whiskey Pete's for the night. When we got there Jaycie said she wasn't feeling well. We chalked it up to a long travel day and being tired. We had connecting doors with Jeff's sister Jill, so we put all 6 kids to bed and the adults went downstairs to the casino to enjoy our portion of the vacation. When we came upstairs later that evening we were getting ready for bed, when Jaycie starts whining and then she chucked all over the bed. (at least she waited for our fun to end) The rest of the evening we were up every half hour with the dry heaves. Fun times. We then had to travel the rest of the way to Disneyland, so armed with hotel towels and an ice bucket we were on our way. She did really well, only vomiting in parking lots, and entrances to gas stations. At one of these gas stations we were walking in and she started to gag, so I turned real fast, wasn't fast enough, it landed in their entrance. There was a man behind us holding the door, we ran real fast to the weeds and a couple minutes later the man came out with a wet and dry cloth for her to clean up with. I was close to crying, I thought that was so sweet. He then proceeded to tell us about this great drink called Ginger Ale, said it would calm her stomach right down. Let me tell you if you haven't tried it, then you need to . She drank it and said she was starting to feel better. Ginger Ale, who new. Anyway most of the trip was uneventful for everyone but Jaycie. She stepped on a dead bee's stinger at the beach and stung herself, then when we were in line at Peter Pan, she was hanging over the rail when she slipped and smashed her face into the rail and had a big welt all down the side of her face. It was not her week.
This is us in California Adventure. This is us in the Tower of Terror. Notice Jaycie's death grip on Jeff's arm. We made her go on this ride, tears and all, at least 8 times. After about the 8th time she decided she was starting to like it.

This is Thunder Mountain railroad. I think the kids had a good time. We went on this ride about 10 times. The kids loved it. And I must say I loved it for other reasons..............
When we were coming off the above mentioned ride there was man standing off to the side of the exit. I looked at him and thought "that looks like Sonny off General Hospital(my favorite, tivo-ed everyday) Jeff thought I was smoking some bad weed. I made Kinzie and my niece Taylor go ask him if his name was Maurice Bernard. He kind of laughed and said yes, the Kinzie told him - "stay right there, don't move" and she came screaming down the sidewalk MOM, MOM, hurry it IS him. So I booked it down there and had my pic taken with him. He was so nice. I can't even tell you how excited I was. He probably thought I was an idiot cause I was just a blabbering. AAAAAHHHHHGGGGG. I am still really excited about it. Anyway here we are....

Happy Birthday Jaycie
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYCIE BUG MAGNUSSON
Seven years ago today our sweet little Jaycie was born. Wow! Where does the time go. Seven sounds so old to me for some reason. It seems like only yesterday the doctor handed her to me all wrinkly and fat. She weighed in at 8lb. 8oz. My biggest and hardest delivery. C-section, in fact. We are so blessed to have Jaycie in our lives. She has the funnest personality and she keeps us on our toes.(see previous blog.) She has her daddy and brother pretty much wrapped around her little finger. She enjoys playing outside with her pets, riding her 4-wheeler, gymnastics, and just hanging out with the family. We are so glad she is a part of our family. Happy Birthday baby girl. We love you.
She didn't want any old birthday cake, she wanted brownies and ice cream, thus the cheap looking cake.
