A couple of weeks ago Jeff came home and told me he was going to shave his head. I was pretty ticked, and then he told me the reason. One of the ladies that he works with has breast cancer, so to show their support, the whole department (save the ladies) were going to shave their heads. I was supportive of this reason. About 10:00 monday morning I went down to the police station to watch this happen.
Jeff told the lady, that he needed her in the garage and she came in just as they were shaving Chief Smith's hair. She started to cry. As each officer shaved their head, she teared up and they all received hugs.
One good thing about this is she couldn't ask for a better support system.
This is a picture of the whole department. I will post one of just Jeff soon.

And they're off.....
After 21 months of running to the orthodontist, getting wires tightend, trading elastic colors, painful teeth, and not eating his favorite candy, the braces have finally come off. It was a very exciting day.
One last picture of the brace-face.
At Dr. Jensen's the kids have the same nurse each time they go. Colton really liked her, she was great.
The process.
Before braces
Look how pretty. Colton kept running his tongue over his teeth saying " I have pretty teeth". He hadn't even seen them yet. And they are pretty.
For being such a good boy for 21 months the orthodontist rewarded Colton with all the candy he couldn't eat while his braces were on, ie: tootsie rolls, jolly ranchers, skittles, suckers, and laffy taffy. He also received congratulation balloons.
I must say.. he is one good lookin' kid.

Newlywed Game
Tonight was our ward Valentine party. Jeff and I were asked to be on the "newlywed" panel. Yeah we kicked some butt. We did practice a little, I won't lie, but I will tell you everything we practiced was not even a question. Yep, we had to wing it.
"What did you do on your first anniversary?" That was 15 freakin'years ago, I don't remember. I was going to say made whoopie, but it was a church function. We went to Anniversary Inn. Jeff remembered. "What Sesame Street character best describes your husband?" Duh, Oscar the Grouch.
We were contestants with 4 other couples. Us, a couple being married only 2 years, one that was 14, a 24, and 18. We were a couple points behind the 2 year couple, they were so not going to beat us, but we came back and tied. The tie breaker question " What is your wifes dream vacation?" Mexico. I don't know if that is my dream vacation but it won us a movie, box of popcorn, and chocolate. What more could you ask.
I do know that I had an easier time answering the question asked to me, than the other ones. Here are a few of the questions:
What ice-cream best decribes your marriage? Rocky Road He missed this
What song best describes your marriage? We had to pick from about 4. The winning answer was "you've lost that loving feeling." He answered correctly
Anyway you get the idea. We had a lot of fun and we won. I guess we do know each other pretty well. Or, we just know the other will answer with the funny comments. I love you babe, thanks for being a good sport.

Still truckin along....
I have nothing of greatness to report. We have been doing our normal, boring stuff. You know, work, laundry, cooking, cleaning, and running children all over the freaking state. I will report that I am sick of this *&(%% weather, and I really, really want it to be summer. I'm thinking of moving to Arizona. Anyone want to come?
